On Sunday 15th February 2015, Xewkija Local Council hosted carnival festivities in our village.

These took place in the Xewkija Parish Square and those present could witness some spectacular carnival flouts, costumes, carnival dances and more.

Mayor Mr. Paul Azzopardi, on behalf of the Local Council, rewarded the winners in the best costume competition for children.
