Restoration Works on the Windmill

The restoration of the Xewkija Windmill are in the final stages. The windmill was built in the 18th Century. Today the six sails were put in place as shown in the below photos.  This will be truly another beautiful attraction in Xewkija which welcomes all those who visit Gozo and head for Rabat or Xewkija.  All the restoration works are being done by the Ministry for Gozo.
