The Xewkija Local Council organized the Animal Show for 2005 at Bridegroom Street.  For this years’ show there were categories for the horses and sheep.  There were more than forty horses and about seventy sheep for this year's show.

The judges had a difficult job to judge the animals and finally to choose the winners of every category.

At the end of the show Mayor Dr Monica Vella, Deputy Mayor Mr.George Zammit and Councilor Mr.Teddy Mizzi presented the trophies to the winners of all categories.
