The Xewkija Local Council together with the Kumitat Monument Nazzjonali Papa Gwanni Pawlu II organized a musical concert on the occasion of the Mother's Day 2007.  The activity was held on Sunday the 13th of May at the Xewkija Parish Church, the Rotunda.

The University Junior Youth Orchestra played a beautiful musical concert.  At the end of the evening Mayor Dr Monica Vella addressed those present at the church and augured all mothers on this special occasion.  This musical program was also transmitted live on Radju Prekursur.
