Ambaxxata Amerikana - 2009
| On the 13th February 2009 a delegation from the USA Embassy for Malta visited the Xewkija Local Council. The Mayor Dr Monica Vella, Deputy Mayor Mr Joseph Vella, Councillors Mr Teddy Mizzi and Dr Marthese Portelli welcomed Ms Cynthia Ehrlich Attaché for Press and Cultural Efforts and Ms Louise Falzon. During her visit Ms Ehrlich emphasized that the main scope of her visit is to be more in contact with the communities and residents. The America Embassy for Malta will also cooperate in organizing cultural activities at Xewkija. Ms Cynthia Ehrlich donated books for the Xewkija Public Library while the Mayor Dr Monica Vella presented her a souvenir of the occasion. | |
